Full Moon in Virgo: Making a Hard Decision

February 27, 2020

Making a Hard Decision I think it is pretty common for people to dread or put off facing a hard decision at times. Especially when it involves a big change because something isn't working. Usually the fear or the uncertainty may cause us to freeze or even inspire a misguided case of 'Oh, I don't need to change anything, everything is fiiinnne! Nothing to see here! This isn't so bad- I can put up with this forever! Piece of cake!' Yikes. I've been there. So, let's just take a breath. If there is something you know isn't working in your life right now and may require a tough decision on your part maybe try this first.... 1. Go to a mirror with total love, kindness, and admiration for the amazing bad-ass you see reflected back. 2. Think of the thing you already know is not working. 3. Then give yourself permission to say out loud: Hi. THIS ISN'T WORKING. Period. Whew. So often we are afraid to just simply admit what's true for ourselves and that's half the battle. And when we finally do, it can feel like removing a tight pair of shoes after a 12 hour day. Big. Relief. This is because most of the time we have been so conditioned to fear the punishment of 'failures' and 'wrong decisions' our truth becomes seemingly less important because our minds become so occupied and obsessed with fear and distraction. However the relief our truth can gift us may create much more space for us to get really clear about what our next best steps are for our life. What's true is we are constantly in motion, constantly changing, and constantly making a new choice- sometimes hourly. And things do not always turn out like we thought they would originally. This is also known as a life PLOT TWIST. Yay! And right now there is a considerable amount of tension in our world pointing us to question all sorts of things- and this has not been easy. Life is showing us our limitations AND the places we need to get free. So this full moon in Virgo is a brilliant opportunity to breathe, ground, and let go in order to get more organized and practical with the tension we may feel around making decisions right now. If we use this time to get more grounded and practical, especially around telling ourselves OUR simple truths, it may be easier to become more inspired about what's next and less overwhelmed. Hey, you. You're the best. Love, M.
