Viva la Revolution of the Heart Today the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, and the asteroid Pallas Athena are all in the sign of Aquarius. Translation: we are snuggling a giant puppy pile of Aquarian energy. Yes! Aquarian energy is very helpful to our world. It is innovative, new and creative. Aquarian energy is also about change-and change can sometimes be scary for us. However, it can open us to some really brilliant new ideas and insights on life. So, here are my suggestions for today if you would like to play... First, start by making a tin foil hat. Just kidding. Well, not really. You can if you want. First, let's set an intent to shake things up a little. See if you can change one thing in your routine today. Big or small. Here are some suggestions: Put your socks on before your pants... Take the scenic route to work... Eat the cookies before the salad.... Be intentional and make it magical for you. Then, give your beautiful eccentric side permission to come out and be a total amazing weirdo... Blast the ridiculous song you turn down at red lights while driving...but today, don't turn it down...(you know which one, just claim it honey) Dance untamed... If you talk out loud to yourself do it in a silly voice... Try that wild recipe you saw on YouTube.. Belt out those high notes from Jesus Christ Superstar in full costume (towel on your head, spatula as the microphone) while you do the dishes... Let. Go. Why are we doing this? Couple reasons... When we can take a break from taking ourselves so dang seriously, our inner critic or judge shuts up and we have more space for cool ideas. And when we open to doing new things, big or small we are telling our brains and our life, I am ready for something new! Patterns can hold us but they can also bind us. The inner critic or judge can point out necessary considerations but can also shut down creativity. And when we are choosing to create a state of laughter and joy for ourselves (which we can actually do at any point) everything has the potential to become more clear for us. Mostly because the giggles drown out our super-mean-serious-brain voice. When we are wanting something new and innovative to drop in, we have to show life we are actually ready and making space for it to happen. And emphasizing- this never has to be dramatic or huge or exhausting, it can be very simple and fun with small steps.
So now the creative channels are open, the 'how dare you seriousness' is cleared and you are ready to listen to yourself in order to set a new innovative moon intent today. Check in with yourself and see what's there. What new thing do you want to try... What do you want to experiment with... Radical love and viva la revolution of the heart my darlings,
M.
